DO WE PLAY MATCHES / TRAIN IF IT RAINS?

MATCHES/GAMES ON RAINY DAYS
In the event of rain, all matches will be played unless cancelled by Centennial Parklands Rangers or if the club official considers conditions are unsuitable or unsafe,

Unless notified beforehand, all players are expectted to attend their games - Football is a winter sport!

TRAINING ON WET/RAINY DAYS
NO training
is permitted if the fields have OFFICIALLY been CLOSED by Centennial Parklands Trust/Councils.
If fields are open and it rains, it is up to each individual team/coach to decide if the fields are deemed safe for training and communicate this to the team members.

WHO MANAGES AND PAYS FOR THE GROUNDS?

QPFA pays for grounds. We have no management role. We are simply one paying user alongside other clubs, schools and big businesses who play not just football, but also touch footy, rugby and cricket.

Queens Park grounds are managed by the Centennial Parklands Trust. Their rangers decide if the grounds should be closed in the case of rain.
