QPFA can boast of enormous success in recruiting volunteers. Coaches and Managers are the bedrock of the club. They make or break it. We are confident that most coaches and managers find it a deeply rewarding experience.

There are other tasks as well that must be undertaken to support players in their matches and training sessions. It is here the the club is hoping to improve parents involvement . We’re very approachable and keen to share these other tasks. You don’t have to wait for the club’s annual general meetings to stand for election to get involved. Contact our club secretary admin@qpfa.com.au at anytime to find out how you might be able to help. Alternatively please offer your help and assistance as per email request from the Club Committee that are sent out from time to time.

We would like to thank the members who volunteered in 2011 and have already offered their help in 2012 ie some age-co-ord, coaches and manageres.

(4-6 people checking forms, taking payments)

TRANSPORTING EQUIPMENT TO AND FROM STORAGE AT THE START/END OF SEASON
6 to 8 cars to transport equipment (or if someone has a van/truck they would be happy to volunteer)

FIELD SET UP AND PACK UP
Each home team to set up their field with goalposts and the last team on the field to pack up and store posts in shed by the playground.

HELPING SET UP GALADAYS AT THE END OF THE SEASON
Unwrapping and displaying trophies, set up of info table and tent.

END OF SEASON STOCK TAKE
In preparation for the following season we need to stocktake all our unsold uniform items and returned equipment (balls, nets, flags, rope, stakes etc)
